Brook is very strong, at his peak it was reported that he had a 140kg bench press.

I can assure you that is 1000% not true.

Brook's "strength" lies in Dominic Ingle's special protein shakes and nasal sprays.

My personal opinion by weightclasses (that I pay attention to):

Miller (on and off the juice) Joyce 1a
    Gassiev
    Beterbiev
    Benavidez
    Charlo
    Hurd
Porter (was muscled by Brook but currently.)
    Ramirez
    Commey
    Berchelt

I definitely believe from a p4p standpoint Beterbiev is the strongest. He's like some type of terminator cyborg machine.

And before anyone comes retorting with slick talk, these are not who I'm saying are the best in each division, simply who appear to be the physically strongest.

Do you have inside info to that effect? 140kgs is impressive, but not so outlandish that you wouldn't expect an elite world class athlete to do it.

Terry Norris and Shane Mosley have reputed benches of 300lbs +. I've personally seen a couple of MMA fighters of similar dimensions bench in that neighbourhood.

I’m well aware of what goes on in the Ingle Gym but the point remains that Brook is very strong (regardless of whether he uses drugs or not) and said in an interview on Sky back in the day that he has a three plate bench.

So what is your point exactly?

Brook walks around at about 170lbs, he cuts a lot of weight to make 147/154. Remember he was absolutely peeled at 160 when he fought Golovkin.

So it’s not “elite” in powerlifting terms if he can push 140kg at his walk around weight but incredibly impressive.

Dave Allen claims a 160kg bench (claimed it on one of his IG stories but without proof). I can believe that as he is ****ing massive.

I know people who have been and left the Wincobank gym. I have friends who are friends with Brook, Galahad and alot of the Yemeni boys who train up there.

It's not the same place anymore since Dom took over. Old man Brendan ran a tight ship and was a straight flier.....
