if rahman is 250 pounds and can bench say 400 pounds....valuev is 325 pounds and does the same....thats not saying much...for him to be considered strong, he would have to do alot more than the average guy....the guy aint strong, trust me..big doesnt equate super powers,,,,,

Yes, I saw Rachman lifting at 24 hour fitness on trop and decatur that man is a physical phenom (at lifting weights). repping 450+, squatting and calf raising what looked to be near 1000 lbs, I wish I had a camera phone back then, he was a strong dude, definitely the strongest one I've seen in real life, lifting.

    people always mention the heavyweights......

Clottey and Quartey are exceptionally strong for welterweights. I'm not sure about all time, but they are regarded as crazy strong for their division

Robert "Jeep" Swenson, an absolute monster pro wrestler with a 0-2 record as a pro boxer. If you could consider him a 'real' pro. He tried to transition into boxing. You can find one of his fights on youtube.

Valuev is also 7 foot tall. Having arms that long is a major hindrance in the bench press. The ideal bench presser is someone with a massive chest, and short arms.

I would say david tua is up there. He is a short, thick guy. I am sure when he was younger, he could bench 500 lbs.

tyson had to be holyfield also but its so misleading short stocky guys usually cant fight near as good but can lift heavier weights bc there mucles are more compact but more power comes from leverage with muschel than just bulk
