I do not believe Shane can bench 350, seeing is believing. I think that Cotto is the strongest welterweight.
I disagree, Shane was getting moved in that fight. They were moving each other back at times, but Shane was getting man handled at times. And after saying that, I still think that Mosely won that fight.
i think cotto and margarito are...cintron is known for his big 1 punch power but not much talk about physical strength. clottey is also very strong as well
i didn't think so..even when cotto's shots were partially blocked by shane's gloves he physically moved him and sometimes looked to toss him around in the clinch.
I'd say Tony and Miguel. I was shocked seeing how skinny Kermit looked last week. I know he hurt his hand but I'm talking abut his body. He looked both gaunt and weak.....very strange.
I am glad someone else noticed that. I do know he no longer does any strength training. I also saw that when he fought Mathyse HBO listed is weight before the fight at 152. When Kermit was with Marshall and I he would weigh in between 162-164 right before entering the ring. There was defintely a time when I would have said Kermit was physically the strongest WW out there. Before the Teddy Reid fight Kermit was a beast. Dumbbell benchpress 110lb dumbbells for 5 reps. Bent over barbell row 225 for 5 reps. Dumbbell military press 90lb dumbbells for 3 reps. Squat 325 for 5 reps. Weight Chins with 5 reps 90lbs extra weight. He was also ran a sub 5 single mile, and ran 7 miles outdoors in 48 min. I can't speak for what he does now, but those were his previous bests.
