Stuart Hall vs. Vusi Malinga & Frankie Gavin vs. Bradley Pryce RBR

(well, not from Vassell - but from Barnes...and definitely from Ramos...)

 

Very hot and cold these days. He can really push a feared guy like Rabchenko in their rematch, or he can be made to look amateurish by someone like Gavin (who does have some buzz around him but nothing like what's around Rabchenko, at least internationally)

He's always kinda been like that, though. One day he is upsetting Anthony Small, and the next he is getting knocked out by Matthew Hall. :conf

 

Round 5

Pryce is walking through jabs and looking to catch Gavin backing up with an overhand right. Left hands on the body by Gavin now hold Pryce at bay, stopping him in his tracks at times. Pryce is ambling in, leaned over to his right. Low blow by Gavin, accidental. Right jabs on the face by Gavin while leading Pryce around the ring.

Round 6

Pryce is jogging after Gavin, having to flatten his feet now and then to maintain his balance, particularly when he lunges and misses with wide left hooks and lunging right hands. Pryce leans backward while stretching out his jab, not making a serious attempt to land it, just window dressing. Gavin meanwhile circles steadily around the ring and scores with his right jab on every revolution.

Round 7

Pryce is being kept shy by the right jab on the face as Gavin now circles in closer and takes a few beelines in to attack. Nice left uppercut lead by Gavin once in range. Body shots by Gavin sprinkled in between right jabs upstairs. Pryce is turning and rolling with shots, twitching his left shoulder up but unable to intercept the Gavin right jab with it. Pryce is doubling his jab tilting forward on his lead foot, almost falling over. Body shot by Gavin, Pryce thought it was too low.

It seems Bradley left his sense of valor in Bulgaria. :think

 

Round 8

Pryce is swaggering with his head rolling to and fro, looking to lean back in time to slip the right jab of Gavin but not often succeeding. Gavin is staying just a short hop from Pryce at all times, controlling the distance and at least grazing Pryce's forehead with every jab. Gavin is staying clear of Pryce's butterfly-net left hooks and mistimed jabs (mistimed and self-sabotaged, with that backward step before throwing move that Pryce does).
