He is on the same level as Fury, so nothing outlandish about his claim You are not indicating that 4 time loser Wlad is anywhere close to Undefeated Wilder :huh Wilder & Fury are on top of the Heavyweight division & then there is a clear gap below them....Wlad, Stiverne, Chsiora, Mansour, Joshua, Jennings, Ruiz
Although Povetkin is somewhat overrated on this board, I think you still got to include him in that crowd.
Is he going to do it sometime?? Or continue to fight cans??? Seems to me he is more than happy to shoot off and continue to fight cans... How often does he need to given "challengers" 4 week training camps???
And that's all Wilder has EVER faced, tomato cans. Grant was overhyped, no question, but his competition is a murder's row of HW's compared to the stiffs WIlder's ledger has been padded with.
Not really. Its more perceived than real. His pre Lennox Lewis resume was about the same as Wilder's if not worse. But most importantly even if he is Grant, there is no Lennox Lewis in the HW division right now to destroy him.
That's just not true. Guys like Olian Alexander, Ross Purrity, Lionel Butler, Ray Anis, Corey Sanders, and Obed Sullivan are better than all of Wilder's opponents outside of Stiverne, Scott and Liakhovich. And Grant was facing this level of fighter only 2-3 years into his career, not 5 or 6 years in like Wilder!!!!atsch On top of that Grant went on to face guys like Al Cole (former CW champ), Jorge Luis Gonzalez David Izon, Lou Saverese and Andrew Golota prior to Lewis - all of whom are far better than ANYONE Wilder has faced outside of, arguably, Stiverne (in some of these cases). And again, Grant was facing this level of comp in under 4 years into his career, not 6 or 7 years in like Wilder. There is a reason for this - and it is found in Wilder's fragile mandible. He is the most protected HW contender of the last 35 years or more, a totally manufactured fraud. In short, it won't take a Lennox Lewis level fighter to destroy Wilder. He's THAT much of a glass jawed fraud.:yep
