Not a new story obviously, decent fight I have seen far worse fights for a title interesting fight and Stuey has all the rights to take an 'easy' fight before defending against a mandatory contender.

But most of all I'd love to hear an interview of Lee Haskins on this fight, what he thinks about it, who he thinks will win, was he offered the fight, does he have a hope or chance of fighting the winner.

Nobody would begrudge Stuey taking a fairly safe fight for his 1st world title defence after his amazing win over Vusi Malinga and at 33 years old he probably knows this is his last chance to make decent money from boxing.

Would be good if the winner defended against Haskins next.

Yeah fight of the year for me to, doubt this will be quiet the same Ward is a very tricky southpaw fighter he's not going to come at Hall like Malinga did I would imagine

Still a good fight in its own light. The world title just add extra reason to win. Got to love box nation for bringing us these fights we just wouldn't see otherwise! I'd like to see viewing figures for Hall vs Malinga against figures for McDonnell vs Ceja which itself was a great fight!

I just hope box nation can maybe get Haskins on Buncey's show maybe next Monday? To talk Hall vs Ward and his upcoming fight and the possibility of a rematch against either of these two, I know his next fight is on Channel 5 But now Mick Hennessey works with box nation aswell surely it can be done?

I would like to see that butler kid from Ellesmere Port come up from super fly and fight the winner of this think he beats both of them he's a class act and one to watch for the future at world level

Haskins was interviewed for sky sports podcast today and speaks about this fight. Halls team refused Haskins rematch understandably Haskins feels overlooked having beaten both in last 18 months, wants the winner but unlikely to get him

hes going to lose it as soon as he faces any of the elite in the division so maybe this way he can make a bit of money with this fight then a haskins rematch

In reality we all look at this fight and think do we blame Hall for making this fight due to the fact once he does fight one of the elite he will suffer a loss no doubt. The win against Malinga was not due to the better class of fighter winning the fight but more the grit and determination. I would think he makes the defence and then hope Jamie McDonnell gets a chance to win back his title.

Just a thought, if Ward wins the title then Haskins will have beaten the last three IBF champions...

would like to see him rematch haskins after this or mcdonnell either would be pretty popuplaur choice with the fans. Haskins showed what level he was the way he despatched Wilton with ease who is very good

Haskins, Hall, Mcdonnel and maybe Butler will all be fighting in the same division, could be some very interesting fights if they get made.

Good point mate, but lets be realistic this is a british level title at best. Neither are ranked in genuine world top 10. The IBF should be embarrassed.
