Stupid boxing fans. Tyson Fury has landed..

The only thing Fury brings to the table is intimidation. But in the ring he's slow and stiff and probably has a weak chin.

I like him but Haye will bring his run to an end.

 

I think Haye wins and wins early but i think it will be exciting and i wouldn't totally write off Fury

 

The Ringside interview was hilarious. The man signed off with "lovely jubbly".

 

Being aware of someone's skills is one thing, being able to deal with it is another matter. Dont u think a good team around a boxer will be aware of the skills the other boxer brings? Doesn't stop them from being KO. Haye via KO within 6.

 

It was a left that did the damage actually. And Chisroa has much better puncg resistance than Fury. I'm so confident that Haye will prevail that i'm willing to state that i'll never post here, or on any other boxing forum ever again, if I prove to be wrong.

 

Haye stopping Fury is the most likely outcome, clearly. He'll be the fastest, most explosive and most mobile heavyweight fighter Fury has ever faced I'd wager, has big-fight experience, and a very decent punch on him.

Although I don't know a great deal about Peter Fury's methods, I like that Booth seems capable at devising solid gameplans for his fighters and would give the nod to Haye's corner in terms of quality.

We've also just seen Fury floored by a fighter of similar size to Haye but who doesn't hit quite so hard as Haye, so it's easy to visualise Haye hurting Fury in his next fight.

Seems pretty cut-and-dried, huh?

But Tyson has shown great recovery powers from being buzzed/knocked down in the past, for me his last fight was all about that; I knew SC would land clean at some point and how Fury took a well-delivered professional punch from an ex-World Champ would tell us a lot about his level - and fair ****s to the lad, he got up, got through it and won.

He has improved each fight (apart from the last one where the lack of a calming/focusing influence in Peter Fury affected him - will not be a prob in Manchester) and due to not only his physical size but the size of the fight in him as well (something Audley lacked) he simply cannot be dismissed here.

He also has the benefit of seeing Haye against big guys like Valuev and Wlad, and therefore has blueprints on what works and what doesn't.

When you also factor in Haye's inactivity versus Tyson's snowballing momentum I feel there's enough in the pot to make this an intruiging match-up, and I for one am gonna let myself get thoroughly and childishly excited by it all.

Are you suggesting that Haye with look to utilise the exact same tactics in this fight as he did in the Wlad fight? Because if you are then I think that's a little short sighted and if you aren't then this comparison is completely redundant.

If Haye fights like he did against Wlab the Fury wouldn't land as hard or as clean as Wald did. But he won't will he, he'll think he can spark Tyson, rather than being worried to engage in any large volume.

People aren't suggesting Fury hits harder, but he should certainly be able to land cleaner on Haye than Wlad did, purely based on the type of fight most expect Haye to push for.
