Stupid question: Does any professional/world class boxers ever view ESB forums?

On ESB I've only noticed Anthony Thompson and Darnell Wilson here
but there are quite a few domestic british fighters who post in the british forum.

But I have talked to a lot of boxers elsewhere like Judah,Malinaggi,and Berto. These boxers do care about what the fans think about them.

 

Please tell Zab that I'm sorry I rooted for Cotto when they fought.

I listen to what some of these fighters, even the top top guys, say in interviews and post-fights and some of the stuff they hit out with sounds like it's been lifted right off these pages ... if they're not reading ESB, they are reading some of the others. Floyd Mayweather is a good example of this actually.

I know one thing, stick "boxing" into google and Eastside Boxing appears very high on the list next to boxrec, wikipedia, etc.

The Brit forum has a load of current pro's on there at the mo, Frankie Gavin & Tony Bellew in particular have been quite active and always have good craich with the guys in there.

I may remember that same instance. I believe he said something like "**** you, how the **** do you know what a guy is going through in his personal life?". Definitely reacted like it was he himself.

 

that depends on if all pro boxers live in china or iraq where google is banned. if they all live in china, i doubt they have checked this site. you know how we have not made any real technological advances in the world, so i doubt alot of boxers never heard of the internet.

If they started posting (god forbid) I'd have to drop all of my commitments so I could sit here defending them constantly, and telling them how good they are

I've talked to Zab Judah on FB, he's even taken what I put on his page and made it his headline, like when I quoted Mickey Ward saying he was his toughest fight. John Sculley is VERY accessible, he'll talk your ear off if you let him on FB and probably anywhere else. Emmanuel Augustus and Steve Forbes will talk to you on FB too, get into some back and forth. Most of the boxers that like to get on the web are pretty accessible, I haven't seen any major huge superstars like DLH, PBF or Pac get into it tho. Nor any Mexicans, but that's understandable I guess.

I know Buddy McGirt Jr follows some boxing forums. Likewise on Danny Jacobs and Peter Quillin.

I'm sure they do. They want to see what the fans want and ESB is probably the most popular place for Boxing (along with may'be a scene) and it's not like Boxers are on the road and doing things 24/7, they have a lot of downtime so I'm sure they look on here hell may'be even post on here. I've got Dirrell on my friends list on the Playstation 3 and he plays quite a bit, so it wouldn't be shocking if boxers come on here once in awhile.
