Stupid question ( reach)

    real quick how do you measure reach is it under the arm pit to finger tips ( or make a fist, to knuckles?) Or is it shoulder to knuckles or finger tips. Daft one i know , its just bugging me lol:good

    "Reach" is the distance from fingertip to fingertip when your arms are spread out to the sides.

    "Arm length" that you usually see used on boxing telecasts nowadays is measured from the armpit to the end of the fist, I believe with your arm extended out in front of your.

    It's wing span. So put your arms out at each side, and measure finger tip to finger tip:

    Reach takes in into account how wide the boxer's back is, therefore arm length is a better indicator of an advantage.
