I've often thought these were the same guys... Almost like Gander Taco is his alt for when he wants to say something a little extra stupid that he doesn't want to be held to or quoted later on.
bball owned fukin gander-gander is a fukin garbage poster...bball stop doin this to *******s!!!:rofl:roflrofl
I'll make it easy for you. [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HwfcvVP957o[/ame] This content is protected This one is too easy. He wouldn't be as accurate as he is if he was predictable given his lower punch output. I won't bother here. You probably know enough about boxing to know who can actually work the clinches or not. We can look at Castillo who had the most success against Floyd. Castillo was far from a stupid fighter that night.
If you think formal education is paramount here then you're narrow minded and ignorant as well as an Arsehole. For all your insults and dismisal of other posters ideas and views, I've never seen you break a fight down, or engage in a debate on technical and tactical subjects. You show up, post the odd insult to people who have different views to yours, then go back to your hole. I'm educated, articulate and I've Boxed to a reasonable level so please, feel free to debate with me at anytime. P.S. For an articulate guy, you waste your words.
Exactly, did roach and Steward go to college? You go to a boxing gym to learn boxing. lance's higher ed couldn't teach him common sense.
See my post above. Gander's posts include some of my thoughts, although I articulate them in a much less inflammatory way. Hence less outrage over my posts. I do not agree with his assessment that Floyd has a weak chin, or doesn't attack the body. I do agree that his ability to adjust is overrated, and that he is merely a slow starter. The only true adjustment I've seen out of Floyd, is that since his move to 147 he has become much more cautious.
As for the "he never throws to the body with anything other than a jab..." What the **** did he do against Hatton? Have you ever thought that his "not throwing to the body ever" is a part of his "robotic defense?" As in, he doesn't want to have to invest in the body attack against shorter/equally tall fighters and leave himself exposed while going downstairs when he feels he can cruise to a points victory. Also, since when is a jab not a legitimate punch? Should we never consider the jab when assessing a fighters' abilities or skillsets? Or perhaps, discount all KD's or cuts which were brought about due to jabs? Since, according to some, a jab apparently is not a real punch or something...
Alt accounts are for idiots and especially cowards. I say what I please, so why the **** would I need one...
you made a point that Marquez throws more text book punches. Ok. That is not a flaw however. If fighters had Floyd ability the lead right would be a text book punch. Because most fighters dont have that ability, means its not text book. If Floyd's punches open up for attack thats not text book then you can count it as a weakness. However considering Floyd doesnt get hit much then its not a weakness. Given that Floyd no longer has the legs he once has yet can still pull off his offense, proves that he is not making mistakes. you also make a point that Floyd backs up in straight lines and then you imply that Trinidad who Oscar outboxed is a better 2 handed puncher and can exploit Floyd better. No No and No. Floyd likes to lure his opponents to the ropes to either make them swing and miss thus get tired or counter off of them. Again, if the fighter can not capitalize off of floyd fighting off the ropes then it is not a weakness. Floyd is probably at his best defensively on the ropes. And he's been doing it for 10 years, and not once did I think to myself that he wasnt comfortable doing it. If Floyd's ability to adjust was overrated why didnt Mosley land that right hand again after the 2nd round?
atsch Look noob, I've done that more then you would even know. Back when this was an ACTUAL site to discuss boxing. Now it's a fanboy hangout. Besides, when I tore apart your 'has his number' arguments based on Pac's athletics, you never replied. And BTW, funny how now you say this after telling me before I am a good poster when it's not on floyd. And now this crap... big reason I don't take you serious. You just happen to love the same fighter as the fanboys I insult. So of course you side with them. And it figures ANOTHER floyd fanboy who's boxed... You fanboys are dime a dozen. All you want it to praise floyd with other like minded fanboys...
that the klitschkos are the greatest heavyweights ever. that bradley is a technical fighter. that joe calzaghe is all around better than srr. that adrien broner isn't good. and that's just the last month or so
