Actually, a couple of valid points there. But thats not what you said at all, what you said was:

Should have chased Mundine rematch after won IBF title, but no Mundine had to get his ranking up for that.

Should have given Soliman a shot for an all Aussie showdown in Melbourne. But no Soliman just wants money they say.

Geale plays the nice guy, which is all good in everyday life, but boxing is boxing.

sturm's class for a paper champ but thats about it
sergio martinez isnt one of the best champs around and sturm still refuses to leave germany and make it happen

still, sturm will be hard to beat

He flip flops. He thinks because Mundine and Green have a higher profile thats the way everyone should do things. Geale is his own man.

    500% correct. :good
Too many people focus on glitz and glam which surrounds the higher profile fighters, and complete bull**** that goes with it.

Geale doesn't need it, all he needs to do is continue fighting the better fighters, winning belts, and everything he needs will come to him.

    Thanks for the support Sox.

As to the Sam Solliman fight., It was way to high risk to reward TBH guys.
It would have sold and had high interest in Australia, and he is a ranked and worthy opponent. However likely it would be a hard fought and ugly win (with a small chance of a loss) for no real gain. Best for me to avoid Sammy until he is my mandatory!

Fingers crossed I get through Felix anyway, let's not get ahead of ourselves... I'll give it a red hot aussie crack though!

    Thow punches in bunches!

no mate not just because they do it, just because in free enterprise of boxing its business. as in making money is the idea..

Don't get me wrong, I dont' dislike Geale. Far from it, great boxer, love his style IMO textbook. But just think its a wasted opportunity to play.

    Appreciate it!

Aussie boxing is looking good for the next few years. Big things to come.
I have worked hard and confidant of victory over Felix,. but know it will be a very tough fight....
He has a superior jab to me, is quick and has been in with the best.
But I have a game plan, and think that my workrate and angles are going to get me over the line!

Hope next year can have a rematch with Choc and that should be a great fight (aslong as he keeps busy and making the right moves in US till then)

Welcome to the nuthouse m8  Hope you do well in germany..

I dont think Felix has a better jab than you do, his jab is good but you have the speed over him easy imo and a nice snappy jab, Felixs is more of a stiff step up jab. Dont sell yourself short, or is that part of your game plan m8 lol? either way all the best come fight night.

and fark sammy, id avoid fighting him also, he has had enough meal tickets and hasnt won any of them, an ugly fighter that brings NOTHING to the table, wouldnt sell very well in australia imo, what i do think that would sell is a Mundine rematch but i dont think Mundine wants to fight you again anytime soon if ever again. If that fight did occur i would tip you to KO the man no worries. I think you can also KO Felix, he doesnt have an iron jaw thats for sure and has been stopped before by lesser fighters of your calibure.

I think this quote from the Troy Waters thread is a bit of a give away....

Geale has always believed he won that fight, and is on record saying so.

About time you spoke your mind sox :good .. thought i was going to get bashed for what i wrote to the guy but i just cant hold my tounge on that sht, better jab than Geale hahaha fck off.

Geale did win that fight, thats why Mundine wouldnt give him a rematch but gave Sam Soliman 3 rematches. go figure. IBO did their job in the protest lodged and had Geale winning the fight but i bet you my left nut that none of the officals who did give it to Mundine got the ass, wasnt that the fight in which the judges claimed they were intimidated/influenced by Mundine fans ?

Thanks for being such a fan, your support is what motivates me!
I did think I won the fight immediately after, reviewing the tape over and over in training though, although I threw more punches, most where inefective and only brushed Anthony's gloves.
He definetly got the better of the exchanges,. it was a close fight, but me being knocked down leaves no doubt on my loss.
I am not ashamed though, was a great fight, hope to fight again./

Thanks for the support TC,. though I do not expect to KO Sturm, and another fight with Choc, I agree I could win, but in all honesty its a quality 50/50 fight.. Would be great to watch that's for sure
