No bother, I had a bet on Strum on points and Spada to win so obviously I'm taking this decision a bit worse than the last one. I thought it was a better fight than the Strum one but that isn't saying much, if I never had money on it I would have lost interest.
p Neither Zbik nor Spada really deserved the victory IMO. What a bloody boring fight it was! This week I ve seen Jantuah vs Pirog,Ndam vs Martyrosyan,Zbik vs Spada, and Sturm vs Gevor. To be honest Pirog would have murdered today's version of Sturm, and Ndam would have taken both Spada and Zbik out of action.
I thought it was Zbik who was doing most holding on in the last two rounds, Spada should have got them for at least trying to fight. I know, I thought he won most rounds clearly, I knew if there was an argument for Zbik getting any rounds he probably would, being the home guy, but in the early rounds and the last 3 I didn't see any way Zbik could get them.
Nah! I am his promoter I ve seen 4 middle weight fights within the last couple of days. Pirog 's performance was the most impressive one.Ndam showed a very classy performance, too. Both Spada and Zbik are no match for any top middle weight fighter. Sturm is totally overrated-Gevor is a teak tough warrior with almost no pop in his fists. Still a little bit too early to make any big judgements on Ndam, but the French based AFrican is certainly one of the more promising fighters at middle weight. Pirog is for real! Do you really think that today<#s version of Sturm would have won a fight with this week's version of Pirog ???
