When I saw this title, I knew it wasn't going to be against Martinez or Pirog. I thought it would be Sylvester but ****ing hell. UNIFICATION?

why not sylvester, hes already beaten him once easily, he shouldnt have much trouble a second time and it would add another legit title to his wba one?

Why would Sylvester want to fight Sturm when he can continue fighting the Orals and Lyells of the world.

I think he may be forced to fight Geale as his mandatory also. Which would be great to see. That **** has held that belt hostage for far too long.

Says the fella with Ricky Burns in his avatar. Some stellar defences he's had since he won his title.

Theres a difference between Burns who's had a couple of soft defences to make some money and to a degree get used to holding a title and Sturm whose spent literally years fighting sub standard opposition

That's fair enough but I'll tell you something, Sturm never defended against someone as bad as that Ghanain we saw at the weekend. If Burns fights a top ten fighter next, I'll have no complaints.

Sturm won't go near Golovkin, he would be outboxed and stopped late i reckon. Unifying with an IBO champ is a joke.
