Oh yeah, I agree totally. UBP is just a money-making machine. But as I've said Griffin was a mandatroy to Sturm as Demers and Miranda to Abraham as Pavlik to Taylor. So if those are the mandatories, what can the champion do? He HAS to fight them, ain't he? And what did Taylor do? Fought guys from lower divisions. And they wanted a reality show star to fight him on the other night. And then he lost to the first mandatory he faced in Pavlik...

The MW division is not that solid if a Griffin can be a mandatory but he is, and Sturm can't do nothing about it but face him.

I thought Sturm would give a rematch to Griffin.

he will not dare to fight abraham. i would love that staredown though: abraham would have that cocky smile and sturm would probably **** his pants. he could try to outbox him because he is technically better than abe but once the former "smurf-boxer" connects it's all over.

Pavlik says he wants all 4 major belts. He said that doing that he would feel like he did his job at 160. Anybody besides me fell like Sturm will never agree to fight him?:huh

sure he will: as long as the fight takes place in sturms actual living room and pavlik has both his arms and legs amputated before the fight.

and even then sturm would do well to last the distance.

This could be true. It would be easy to hype any fight between two undefeated champions, so it could turn out to be the biggest pay day Sturm ever gets.

That TBA opponent is tough. I'd like to see Sturm-Mayorga.

Demers was never AA's mandatory. In fact, he was ranked 14th at the IBF when they offered him the fight....
