TKO7, the beating is over. Sturm has an awesome jab and above average power, so why wasn't he more aggressive? I think he could find more success putting more powerful combos together.
Easy win for Sturm. Even if Sato is not in his league, you've to give Sturm respect for his performance. His jab is extremely good, he is a technically brilliant boxer, perhaps the best in the division. I think he would loose against AA and Pavlik, but this wouldn't be a walk in the park for them. Nice one, Sturm!
I have been waiting for AA vs Sturm for quite some time now, and i do not think Sturm is afraid but his promoter won't let him near AA or Pavlik. Kinda the same how Arum is protecting Pavlik right now (i do not believe Pavlik is a ducker either) Fortunately AA vs Pavlik seems to be getting closer.... and while i think Sturm is a good fighter he will come short against both AA and Pavlik imho.. he just lacks the power and his work rate isnt high enough to compensate. I do hate the Ottke streak of title defenses but hey .. atleast he doesnt need the refs or judges to safe his ass vs the tomato cans! And i fully agree Kessler would just pummel Pavlik... i would be more curious to see AA vs Kessler as styles make fights and those 2 styles would mix for a very fan friendly fight i think. And i'm not sure who would win ... (AA's power as a super middle seemed very good + it should benefit his stamina not having to drain)
Hell yes bro I am all for Kessler vs. Abraham! Pack the place in Kopenhagen (Parken with a capacity of 40k people) or in Hamburg. It would be a FOTY candidate for sure, Kessler can probably hurt Abraham through the guard and Abraham can definitely hurt Kessler. Both men are in peak conditioning come fight night aswell, and 168lbs would be a healthy weight for Abraham. Bring it on, I'd fly to Germany for that fight or take the bus to Denmark for sure :happy
Hell yes, as a dutchie (we have no good fighters in boxing... K1/MMA on the other hand) i have yet to attend a live fight sadly... it is long overdue. Abraham vs Kessler in Germany i would definitely take the train or car and attend.... what a choice for a first live event! On the other hand i am a fan of both fighters and i would be both excited and sad no matter who wins or loses. Foty material no doubt though, outside of them both coming in the ring seriously ill i see no way how it could possibly be boring.
