****ing people on here giving excuses for Sturm. In this case perception is reality. When your team turns down a good offer, which is negotiable, then your being punked.

I dont understand this kind of cowardice on the promoters part, the promoter is the mouthpeice of the fighter. Sturn says he wants AA? I call bull****, the truth is in the action not the words.

This is exactly why people get a title of Eurobum. Sturm is well on his way to eurobum status if not already there.

Good on AA for trying to make the fight.

Why is it that whenever a fight doesn't happen (for whatever reason), one guy is automatically ducking the other?

ummm yeah OK.......he was middleweight champ 3 years ago...i would call that "a name"

either way, everyone sturm fights is not "a name"...so an even better case to have fought him if thats your weak point :deal

 

Sturm should take it cause Team Mundine will most likely be the other big money spender flicking $$$'s at Sturm and it wouldnt be near what is offered from Abraham.

Both fights Sturm will lose.

everyone on this board..ok 95% of the people on this board knows sturm fights garbage competition and has no pride. and youre in the other 5% who will make excuses....heres an idea, give the fans, especially the german fans the fight everyone wants.........

lets see.... from what i remember and know...its in a boxers blood to fight the best and prove youre the best. not to avoid other fighters because you could lose. not to mention hes had 5 fights since getting kayoed by the junior middle weight oldie...how many other fights does he need to recoup from that? :deal

 

Can't defend themselves? For one, I'm not bashing on Sturm, but when it comes down to two fighters getting in the ring, money shouldn't matter, but sadly it does today.. These two are the biggest names in Germany and would definitely be one of the biggest fights ever.. There shouldn't be no reason why this fight shouldn't happen.. Abraham wants to fight, but Sturm wants an extra .5 million?
