Didn't you used to have a N'jikam AV? The same N'jikam who gave up his WBA interm belt instead of fight Gennady. Glad to see the WBA enforced that and there is one less WBA belt at MW, i would love to see them force Sturm to fight Golovkin rather than allow the Zbik fight but im afraid thats too optimistic.

Edit - Come to think of it weren't you always insisting that Golovkin was the one ducking N'jikam lol ?

felix is trying to earn as much money as possible. i bet he has to fight golovkin after the zbik fight. in the zbik he will earn something like 3mil and then golovkin will sent him in retirement

Wasn't Zbik supposed to fight Proksa? I thought Sturm won the purse bid on that one?

I try to avoid questioning boxers' bravery but Sturm is a straight up *****.

why? Sturm is mostly in evenly matched fights and Zbik-Sturm is also a solid evenly matched fight. its not that hes beating up far inferior bums and doesn't want to get into some competition. he just doesn't like the idea of getting humiliated by Golovkin because i guess Sturm knows himself that it'd be a mismatch and a three round fight at best. so can't really blame hime that he wants none of Golovkin until hes forced to fight by these WBA ***s who're the only ppl to blame in all that mess imo. I feel sorry for Golovkin though whos the mandatory for more than two years now and is still not getting his shot

Do you not think Sturm should be taking on a guy like Golovkin? Sturm's been a world champion and top-ranked middleweight for five years and shows no desire to take on tough challenges. Instead he ducks the fights the fans want to see.

Zbik dropped out, I liked him in the chavez jr fight and he was humble afterwards but dude is a hometown boring guy in general, remember him and his team drinking champagne after getting sergio's title. That was cringeworthy.
Sturms pussiness is starting to affect the overall division.
He should fight pirog, I hope proska, pirog and golovkin start to fight each other.
I dont want pirog to retire because of this.

We can still hope the WBA will not sanction the Sturm-Zbik fight and force Sturm to face Golovkin. I could actually see Sturm pulling an N'Jikam and dropping the WBA belt rather than fight Golovkin. From a business standpoint it might make sense for Sturm to save himself a beating and continue taking easy fights.

Feel bad for Golovkin, waited all these years to get free from Universum and now all these guys are straight up ducking him. Also feel bad for Andy Lee who dropped off the HBO card because he though he could get a shot at Sturm.
