Sturm tells Macklin to "Man Up"

    Just came across this interview with Felix Sturm on FightNews today. He told the writer that Macklin missed two deadlines to sign a - according to Sturm - contract with much better (financial I guess) conditions for a Nov./Dec. rematch, again in Germany. Macklin's team seemingly hasn't even contacted Sturm's people to discuss the fight. Sturm's really calling Macklin out in this interview, looks like he wants the rematch for real.

    What do you guys think about the interview and the possible result for a rematch?

    im a big macklin fan but sturm had an off night and wasnt really there in the first half of the fight and outclassed macklin most of the second half. watch it again without sound.

    sturm believes that if they rematch he has macklin figured out now and will outclass him all 12 rounds if needed. and a rematch is needed, i has macklin scraping the first fight by a single deserved point.

    Macklin won the first fight JUST however sturm DOMINATED the latter stages of the fight he worked macklin out, if they fought again massive UD for sturm.

    Macklin beat Herr Sturm's ass. The fight should be in the UK or a neutral territory. Of course, that won't happen.

    he landed hooks flush around Sturms guard throughout the fight... Macklin only has a slim chance to KO Sturm in a rematch so its pretty much pointless to go to Germany again other than for the paycheck..
