Sturm turns down Abraham wants Pavlik

Sturm said he'd come to the US to fight KP.

 

Sturm also said he'd fight Abraham. Do you honestly think he will fight Pavlik for less than a third of the money he'd get against Abraham?

 

I tend to believe this from what I have read. The exception may be that people feel Kelly is more beatable after the Bhop fight. You have to ignore an awful lot to think that fight was representative of what Kelly can do.

 

I'm not a Boxer your question is irrelevant but to answer your question i would fight Abraham for 2,5 million-euro.

Sturm knows that he would get knocked out against the real world champs
It's ok if he wants continue to defend his papertitle vs bums like Pittman and Alcoba but he should stop his stupid trash talking. Sturm isn't a real champ.

 

Of course Pavlik is the real champ but Abraham is the top contender and Sturm is only a guy with a meanless belt who fights bums in germany if Sturm has the balls to fight against Mundine and wins i would call him a contender.

 

Sturm is a Euro Bum, DLH showed up fat and out of shape but still beat him, then he went on to get stopped by an undersized 38 yr old castilleja, both Pavlik and AA would beat his ass quite easily.

 

Pavlik is the home boy and you may have seen my other posts. That said, until Pavlik/Abraham fight, I don't know if I would call either "the real champ". AA has done what he has had to do with what he was given. NO doubt in my mind he would fight ANYONE at 160 to prove himself. Too bad oceans enter into this. I'm just not willing to take anything from AA until it is taken in the ring. I really, really try hard to be objective about this. While I believe Kelly's height/reach would be the deciding factor, I won't diminish AA in any respect.

 

There should only be one real champ and if i have to pick between Abraham and Pavlik i would pick Pavlik because he beat Taylor who beat Hopkins.

Abraham vs Pavlik would be a close fight i would pick Pavlik by late ko or UD.

But Sturm is an easy victim for both guys.

where the hell do u get KP's chin being lass than avg...he got CRUSHED by taylor,,,then he stuck his chin out and got smoked right on it...and still lasted the fight to win by ko...he got battered by hopkins and never went down...and he walked a huge punching Edison Miranda down like he was a little kid...he has a chin...he may get ko'd by abraham but that is not for a lack of chin....AA punches hard

I'm not impressed by Sturm calling Pavlik out. There is a growing list of people who have shouted Kelly's name from the roof tops, but when it came time to make a fight -- well -- that's a whole different story.

Sturm has more or less the same problem with KP that he would have with Arthur. Felix is probably the slickest and quickest of the 3, but 12 rounds is a LONG ****ing time! Pavlik's pressure would eventually get to him, same as Abraham's right hand would eventually find him.

 

Why does he want Pavlik and not Abraham?

Wouldn't King Arthur represent a much bigger fight in terms of economics? Also unification so it's not like Abraham is a nobody.

Sturm may actually be looking at Pavlik/Hopkins and thinking it means something in a Pavlik/Sturm fight, but to state the obvious, Felix Sturm is no BHop!

 

Agreed. KP's chin is nowhere near average, he has a real sturdy chin.

I would REALLY be disappointed if the fight between KP and AA doesn't take place after the KP vs. Rubio fight. No more lame excuses please! The fans want that fight and they want it soon.

Sturm is a good boxer, but is he a good fighter as well? I think he isn't.
