Dominant? Are you kidding me? Dominant is not fighting for 10 seconds in a round.

Dominant? You have a strange definition of what that word means.

Griffin missed a lot of punches he shouldn't. Otherwise Sturm would have paid.

Sturm deserved the win. The last card was a bit too much for him though.
Griffin was a little more active but he was not landing cleanly. Sturm counter punched him pretty well and landed some good rights here and there.

    I had it 116 - 112. Sturm.

He would have a hard time against Abraham, let alone Pavlik....

2 double arm guards behind a jab.

sturm will dwarf sylvester though and if he keeps it long will win.

116-112 if I gave all the close rounds to Griffith. I had it 3 rounds for Griffith, and one draw.
This was back to the old Strum the jab machine.
Most of the time I admire Sean's wisdom. Not this time, Strum took easy, 1, 2 and 3, Griffith 4th easy.
I was watching a very good Stand Up boxer tonight, with an immaculate jab.
And Griffith showed he was a good fighter the last time out. This was sort of like the first and second Lewis vs Rhaman fights. A difference in attitude and both showed in the second fight what a jab was all about.

This is a type of development that Strum should have kept to. He lost his line when against Frazier he was bulking up trying to become a power puncher.

You, if you have ever seen a fighter get rose colored glasses, for or against him. My rose colored glasses had Strum dominating.

Swininging and hitting gloves or arms is not effecient attack. No matter how many pretty hooks are thrown.

I thought his jab was just about perfect, and he hit Griffith enough with his right and upper cuts to keep him honest.
I saw a good solid fight, with a very fine performance by Strum. Last time Griffith put on a better performance and I saw that fight as a well deserved draw.

Grifith is a good man, perhaps very good.
I am sure he expected to use his jab more, but was beaten to the jab. After tonight, and after he sees the tape, he will consentrate more on his jab....because that was what beat him a great jab and good movement.
