sturm vs abraham

He got 1.6 million € against Sylvester. Why should he fight Abraham (which is a FAR bigger fight) for 1.5 million €?

 

A champ does not get ranked with the other governing bodies.

the commentator said something different, if i remember correctly: sylvester got 500k, the overall purse was two million, but he said the sturm doesn't get the whole difference, something goes back to the promoter.

With how boxing is doing in Germany, this fight would be HUGE over there.

I see Sturm actually being the aggressor to start with; Abraham will catch/take his best shots, find his range and take Sturm out around the midway mark.

If he was to beat Sturm he would leapfrog Pavlik in my estimation.

Pavlik needs to beat Rubio, then they can unify all four belts. Wow it would be great if it all turned out like that.

 

Oh yeah, the ARD guy sucks bog time! I always want to switch off the tone when watching the universum's shows.

As for the money, of course lots of that goes to promotor, manager, trainer etc (not to mention taxes!) but that would be the same with the 1.5 mill Sauerland offer. The fact is, 1.5 mill, or even 2.5 mill is nowhere near the amount needed to make this fight happen.
