What the hell happened to Karmazin? Is the WBC going to ignore tradition and give an eliminator to these guys?

I think it is either going to be very close on points (in which case Sturm likely wins...lets face it). Because Sturm will do the more eye catching work, technically he is outstanding, but Gevor is busy and aggressive.

However, I think Gevor has an outside chance of wearing down Sturm and stopping him. Sturm's chin is not the best, under pressure I could see him folding later in the fight, perhaps. If Gevor brings his absolute A game, which he was close to against Askainen and for periods against Abraham.

I can't see Sturm stopping Gevor though, so IMO the odds are crazy overall. Whoever you think wins...bet on Gevor.

Exactly -- the #2-3 man in the division is taking on his toughest foe in quite awhile, and people come up with that crap. I call bull**** on that attitude.

If Mde In Hell wants a shot he should win a eliminator.

There are a number of opponents.

He looked good beating a brazilian bum on Shumenov's undercard.

I thought you were saying that Spada/Zbik was an eliminator. Normally in the WBC you have to win the NABF title to get an eliminator, and that means beating Roman.

Spada vs Zbik is for the interim title.

99% of the people on this forum hate sturm and his management team for his shitty title defenses that no one cares about except for the country he fights for....

I am glad you are a boxing enthusiast and cancelling your plans, that is what you should do. And how do you know 99% of people hate sturm, the guy is more technically gifted then an abraham and pavlik. You are probably one of the fans that think any fighter outside of the States equates to being a bum.:tired

nope...i like Abraham and Froch...why? because they have balls and either look for big fights or have had big fights.....no excuse for sturm and abraham to not have fought

    Sturm ducked Abraham.
