    yeah man, i feel ya.....
and im american and as of the last year i am starting to think Pavlik is full of **** too....
no excuse for pavliks last year of fights....i think Pav ducked arthur....pav is or was the man at 160...and is a huge draw and no way he sits on his ass and let bob arum make 100% of the called shots...maybe up and coming pav but not champ pav. one thing i will say about sturm is he is always in amazing shape. there, thats my one nice compliment :)

Ya -- sure -- no excuse for fighting Hobos like Taylor and Hopkins. And there sure as hell ain't no reason for taking time off when your wife has a baby. Just man the **** up -- forget family -- and act like a ****ing fighter!! That's what I say:patsch

Ducked Abraham? Sauerlands best offer was $1 million short of what KP got for Gary freaking Lockett.

Look Ice, this issue about who is ducking who, has been beat to DEATH! If Pavlik fought Bernard voluntarily, he fights arthur, no doubt about it. Then again Pavlik or arum thought Bernard would be a walk in the park. Now as far as Arthur vs Pavlik, there are SO MANY rumours out that sometimes I just think both fighters or promoters DUCKED each other! There are arguements on both sides, Arthur moving to SMW to fight better caliber opponents, Pavlik's wife having a baby rightfully wanting some time off, Arum wanting to build Arthur's profile in the states, Sauerland offering less money for a fight against arthur when Pavlik made more against Lockett, Pavlik interested in a fight with Sturm when there were discussions with Arthur previously, it just goes ON AND ON! I honestly am sick of it and don't really want to focus or debate about this anymore. Pavlik will clean mw, Sturm probably being his toughest opponent. Arthur will finally be tested at SMW, which in my opinion he will do well at.

    Good post,finn! Well spoken!

Nevertheless,my prediction is different.Gevor by point decision.

Sturm and Gevor are stable mates, but Sturm is the one who generates big money for his promoter.
Gevor is no very marketable fighter, and will never be one.
All the odds are against him.His promoter will probably be rooting against him and crossing all his fingers and thumbs for Sturm.Gevor will have to pull his socks up in every round with Sturm.Otherwise they will score all close or competitive rounds in favour of Sturm.
Anyway! Gevor is a warrior, and I very much doubt that STurm will be able to waive the red flag for the raging bull in his opposite corner for 12 long rounds.Gevor will go out with blazing guns attacking Sturm mercilessly for the entire route of 12 rounds.
Gevor knows that he is out of the game if he loses this upcomming fight.Sturm wont manage to ward off Gevor's attacks for more than 2-3 rounds. My gut feeling somehow tells me that Sturm will mentally cave in at one point of their encounter letting Gevor take total command of the fight.Sturm will hold the forth, but the gate will be severely damaged.

Well,we wont get bored silly while watching their fight.Thats for sure!:yep

I think Gevor KO's him late. Sturm will probably edge the early round and after the 6th i thinks its going to come down to an all out battle with Gevor coming out on top with his pressure.

It all depends on if Sturm can avoid Gevor for 12 entire rounds, using his jab to score and hold him off. Similar to his game plan with Castillejo II and Sylvester.

If Gevor can avoid the jab and get close, he will fire away at all costs to the body and head. This will wear down Sturm, and at any point in the fight Sturm will appear punchdrunk from the many "close misses" that he will eat some big punches, and that will be the end. Gevor hurt Asikainen with bodyshots.

My bet will be on Gevor by KO, but that is not "certain", given Sturms elusive skills.

Fair enought Iceman71!:good But you must Admit Sturm has some skills too, IMO better than Pavlik, but that leads us to main problem, Sturm should fights guys like Pavlik And AA, that is all what is wrong with Sturm, he lacks balls to be honest...:-(
