alcoba showed a lot of heart. he came the long way to germany, was a total underdog, but he still managed to go to the very distance. sturm on the other hand didn't impress me at all, so why not hand the belt to the guy on the rise (sturm is shot)? i had it even until the last round so i could choose by judging their heart in the 12th who deserves it more.. and it was clearly alcoba.

look, i thought that sturm totally sucked cause he basically did just enough to win.......eventhough the other guy was there to hit and hit hard.

sturm fought like a coward vs an undeserving challenger. but he did outpoint alcoba.

so i guess we can all agree that people will only call "robbery" when there really was a robbery in germany. see.

except when the whole pride of a nation sticks to one fighter, and this fighter gets knocked out in a rematch by a feather-fisted german. that's the way even clear knockouts can turn into robberies.

Which is all that really matters: WIN. Having said that, I don't see how he will ever be given the chance to fight guys such as Jermain Taylor or Winky Wright with performances like this. I guess there would be huge interest in a Arthur Abraham vs Felix Sturm fight in Germany, although it's unlikely to happen anytime soon. And if he wants people to take him seriously it's one (or more) of those three guys he has to beat. Until that happens he's nothing more than a paper champ.
