aussie boxers are popular opponents in germany...........for obvious reasons!

look at the statistics in recent world title fights:

mundine got streched, green lost twice, thornberry got a boxing lesson........not a good statistic.

A bit of trivia for you all (I read alot of books)

Did you know that a Sturm is a type of gun? Sturm Ruger is a nine-shot automatic weapon. Cecil Kirby used it in one off his hits back in 1980 :hey

It wasn't contraversial IMO, Oscar won by a couple of points. This is a brilliant fight, I think that Jamie can definitely win this. Good to see him taking the title against quite a credible opponent. If he wins here, it will put him right into the mix of things at 160. Jamie has the skills, in what IMO is currently a lackluster div to make a bit of noise. Very interesting fight.

Yeah Pittman is a very live underdog in my eyes.
Im just not quite sure he will get the decision if it does go to the cards.

If he beats Sturm, Geale wouldn't even be on his radar. Waaaaay more money fighting a return in Germany, which is exactly what'll happen if he gets the W.

If Pittman does win, it may be better for him in the long term to base himself in Europe.
