good match up-Post Shoulder injury Vernon Forrest would not- Pre injury, he fits what I just said the best doesn't he, your right:think.. He makes for a style problem for Floyd though, I agree.
People will call me crazy for this but I think the best way to beat floyd NOWADAYS with his new style is basically slick counter punching. Honestly, the number one attribute a boxer needs to beat Floyd Mayweather is footwork. If your feet are not as quick as his and/or you can't position yourself as well as he does you just can't beat him because he's so quick to move in the right directions.
Whitaker's style if you are of his sort of ability. It would be dull but you could effectivley keep retreating from floyd he'd have to go after you eventually
A good jab is always a way to success in boxing. A good jab, smart pressure, experience and boxing IQ. That is a lot to ask but there are people who have those abilities.
A slick fighter with great foot work defense, speed, stamina and focus can get the job done. Zab Judah in the first three rounds of there fight comes to mind. If someone like that with all of the above attributes step to the plate, they will definitely give Floyd a problem. Zab lacked the discipline and stamina to keep up, which is why he got picked apart. Pac has the speed and stamina, but lacks the defense and will easily get fustrated as the fight goes on from Floyd hitting him. As of right now the only person who could beat Floyd is Floyd.
How? What did he do which Floyd would not be able to deal with. Floyd would be too quick and too smart for Margarito.
Just look at Castillo I. Blueprint is there, may got beaten on the night. That blueprint is lots of body work first 6rds. After that bring the attack up and pound that glass jaw.
Castillo already tapped that! Do you even know who Jose Luis Castillo is? I know you're quite young.. :rofl
I hate how people bring up the Castillo fight which was like 10 years ago and say he hasn't changed as a fighter but when someone brings up Morales-Pacquiao then they say but Pacquiao is a completely new fighter.
