Even if I was wrong about 1 fact the rest remain true.

It is clear from my 1st reply that I do not consider it as an instance of "STYLES make fights".

Cheats are tactics too and they do make fights sometimes.
So whatever you call it, Foreman was cheated out of his title in his 1st reign (his 2nd was not a real reign for me, because Holyfield beat Moorer both times)

While I don't view Ali-Frazier as being the result of a conspiracy, I do think that it wasn't simply a case of Ali using one specific tactic to overcome his opponent.

Ali initially circled and looked to drop right hands in on his advancing rival, before moving to the ropes to counter as the fight progressed. He then countered off the ropes in the next couple of rounds- and then used a mixture of the two styles over the last three rounds to keep Foreman at bay. Both of these "tactics" fit in with Ali's overall style, which was to outmaneuver his opponents and use his hand speed to pop them repeatedly with a variety of lead rights and combinations.

Tactics and styles blend into one another, but aren't interchangeable. And some fighters do struggle with fighters who employ a specific approach, regardless of the specific tactics that are used.
