    Ricardo Mayorga was a wild brawler,flat footed and does not have the same boxing skills as a Prime Shane Mosley who lost to Vernon Forrest 2 times by UD.

    Ricardo Mayorga managed to Knockout & win a decision against Vernon Forrest who was 35-0-(26 KOs) was rated one of the best P4P at that time and Forrest only fought Shane Mosley 6 months earlier before the Ricardo Mayorga fight.


    Interesting... can you make a list of certain boxers who are greater than the other but cannot seem to beat the same boxer they fought?

    Norton beats Ali, Foreman knocks out Norton, Ali knocks out Foreman

    I know Ali won against Norton later but Ken had a case in all three fights

    If Mayorga had been just a bit more "cautious" in the last round against Mosley, he had it in the bag, he acted stupid and lost a fight he should have won.

    He was simply to gassed to take a punch any more. I was rooting for him to pull it out, a really close fight imo.
