Styles make fights-sugar shane is much harder opponent for floyd than manny pac

I keep hearing that Floyd is scared of Manny and that is the reason why he asked for a drug test...Basically what I am getting from most fans (pacquiao fans mainly) is that Floyd had it planned all along to use one reason or another to duck manny...THUS THE REASON THEY ALWAYS SAY "WELL IF MANNY AGREED THAN FLOYD WOULD HAVE JUST ASKED FOR SOMETHING ELSE."

So now that everything is a done deal between Floyd and Pacquiao's respective opponents, how is that Floyd used the drug test to duck Manny?:huh Floyd did not ask for anything else beyond the drug test when it came to Shane? It stopped at the test...Some fans (Pac fans mainly) say Floyd would have just come up with something else...how and why?

I mean if you get right down to it Manny is a much easier style for Floyd to pick apart in comparison with Shane...A Manny fight is worth 3-4 times as much as a Shane Mosley fight...

Shane is everything that one expects (technically) to beat Floyd...He is a BIG WW with GOOD HANDSPEED, DECENT FOOTWORK, and HE KNOWS HOW TO BOX, plus he has a HARD PUNCH IN BOTH HANDS...Shane is LONGER than Floyd and he will OUTWEIGHT Floyd on fight night (probably)...

Shane mixes it up..he has a boxer-puncher style and he thinks more...He is much more versatile than Manny as well..HE IS A LOT MORE DANGEROUS IN THE RING TOO..


Manny is all right for Floyd IMO (technically)...Manny has AWESOME SPEED and GREAT POWER...GOOD FOOTWORK, DECENT BOXING SKILS but MORE OF A SWARMER, VERY HARD LEFT HAND-GOOD STRONG LEFT...

Manny is a side to side fighter...he uses footwork and angles to land hard power punches (literally side stepping his opponent so much that he will be parallel to them while they are looking at where he used to be)...Has a PLAN A WHICH USUALLY PUTS EM AWAY...PLAN B NOT SO MUCH....

TECHNICALLY, Shane is a much harder fight for Floyd than Manny. Floyd will not have the size advantage nor weight advantage against Shane and therefore he wont have the opportunity to walk Shane down(theoretically) and be the "bigger man." Floyd has no reach advantage either. Shane can use his height and keep Floyd at distance better than Manny could.

PHYSICALLY Shane is bigger and I believe his punches are felt more than Pacquiao's...Shane is also more suited to be able to 'walk Floyd down'...With the size and length he would stand a much harder fight for Floyd physically..I also think he has a better chance at making floyd "fight"....Manny struggles with good counter punchers such as he did in the JMM fight...Mosley knows how to be a counter puncher and he has the size and strength to shrug off some of Floyd's punches and return punches while Floyd is exposed...Manny wouldnt have that benefit..

Also, how is it that Floyd is "scared of Manny" when the guy he is fighting in Shane is bigger, stronger, technically more skilled, more schooled in the sport, and just imo a more versatile fighter than Manny? (MANNY IS THE BEST IN THE WORLD I ADMIT, BUT STYLE WISE HE DONT MATCH UP AS WELL AS SHANE DOES WITH FLOYD)..How is Floyd scared of Manny when the guy he fighting is worth A LOT LESS MONEY BUT A LOT MORE RISKY? DON'T ADD UP:huh

 

Shane sits back and waits..HE ISN'T ALL "COME FORWARD"...u mention angles...Not sure if you have ever boxed but ONE THING YOU NEVER DO IS GIVE YOUR OPPONENTS ANGLES AS IT MAKES FOR A VERY BIG ADVANTAGE..SEE HATTON-PAC AND DE LA HOYA-PAC....Floyd is a master at not giving his opponents angles...He knows how to stay a step ahead (literally) of his opponents...the footwork he has is untouched...Manny cant do much (imo) beyond his limits if he can't find angles...thats not to say he wouldn't make a competitive fight with Floyd because he is the best in the world and he would be competitive for anyone 147 down....im only saying he wont be able to land those hard shots on a quick fighter that moves and can make you pay for your mistakes....he wont get the angles (literally)..just a look on it..NICE POST THOUGH I RESPECT THAT:good
