People weren't saying that a big welter would beat Floyd, they were saying Floyd needs to fight within his own division and stop travelling south for his accolades. Big difference. You see how many people wanted the Floyd/Mosley fight to be made (me included). Now that's its made everyone (me include) thinks Mayweather will win. It's not that we're being finicky, we just want Floyd to match up according to his gifts and fighting at 147-154 is where he's supposed to be at.

Warriors dont have to beat each others brains in to be warriors....Floyd is in there with the 3rd best in the world after facing the 2nd best in the world and trying very hard to get a fight with the best fighter in the world..THAT IS A WARRIOR...FIGHTING THE BEST! Style wise though I still dont see how you can say manny is a harder fight...Shane is the picture perfect opponent to beat floyd FOR THE LAST 10 YEARS...GO LOOK AT POSTS FROM A COUPLE YEARS BACK and everyone is saying how Shane would beat Floyd and matches up style wise with Floyd very well...

FURTHERMORE I BELIEVE EVEN BOB ARUM WHO IS PAC'S PROMOTER SAID HIMSELF THAT MOSLEY IS THE HARDEST STYLE MATCHUP FOR FLOYD...ROACH MENTIONED SOMETHING LIKE THAT TOO...

Good stuff. I see your point with alot of what you said...I disagree when you say Floyd is "defaming manny"..I know he talks a lot of **** but these guys are fighters...Floyd is loud and he knows how to play the as$hole role...he is still selling the fight if you ask me...on top of that I believe Floyd is pissed that they tried to turn it around on him not making the fight....Floyd was open and honest throughout the negotiations...he didnt have people in his camp giving false information to the press, nor were his people correctd by the mediator..Pac's people were...that on top of the numerous excuses he gave led me to believe he is hiding something...dont know what it is....but his first reason behind why he didnt wanna take the blood tests should have held up.he shouldnt have had to get a different excuse each time.it should have been "Blood tests make me weak if I take them within 30 days" and that's it...there never should have been a video that surfaced of him giving blood 24 days before the Ricky fight..Floyd on the other hand budged and opened up to all of Manny Pac's demands....even when roach was changing the date to March 13th and was lying through his teeth when he said Floyd didn't want the fight on March 13th Floyd still gave in...roach said the money would make him duck pac n it didn't...50/50..than the glove size..that was all good...it just seems like the one thing that dont get that fight made and its all floyd....how though?

U PUSHING IT MAN..FLOYD WEIGHS IN AT 150 FOR 154 LB FIGHTS..HE DOESN'T BELONG AT 154..MAYBE A FIGHT FOR A TITLE OR SOMETHING..BUT 147 IS HIS SPOT...NICE POST OTHER THAN THAT ONE FLAW :good

BTW MANY PEOPLE HAVE SAID MOSLEY HAS THE STYLE TO BEAT FLOYD OVER THE YEARS..NOW THE FIGHT IS SIGNED AND A LOT OF PEOPLE AREN'T SAYING THAT ANYMORE..JUST SEEMS THAT THE EXCUSES ARE ALREADY BEGGINING SHOULD FLOYD WIN..

LIKE FANS ALREADY TRYING TO DOWNPLAY THE VICTORY WHEN IN FACT THIS MAN WAS A BEAST N JAN 2009. NOW HE FIGHTING FLOYD AND HE OLD ..HMMM

He beat DLH with relative ease. He's a gifted fighter that would give anyone at 154 a run for their money. However past it DLH was I think had he not commited suicide by trying to turn the clock back ten years he would have recaptured a title or two at 154 and still have been relevant. Floyd would have been a small 154 but his skills would carry him. At this weight fighters would be bigger, but more talented, no. Let's not forget that 154 will soon be filled by the welters who outgrew their division. Williams, Cintron, Margarito.

I agree because he's an action fighter so he comes straight at you. PBF eats guys like that up.

I believe Pac is still the tougher opponent, but Floyd beats him and Shane like a stepchild anyway

i never said he was "come forward" just said he likes to be in control. and as for you claiming angles being a "bad" thing i think thats just preposterous, how is it a bad thing for pac to come from different angles? also its pretty well know that floyd usually blocks 1,2,3 punches but 4,5,6 usually hit him in a continuous combo and pac does this often.

Of course Paq is the harder fight. That's why Floyd did everything he could to sabatoge it.

Shane is also easier to hit than Pac. I don't believe Floyd can beat Pac by only Pot shotting, and Pac's a southpaw and fast so Floyd's shoulder roll won't work as smoothly with him. Floyd will have to back Pac up and fight more offensively , and since Pac's has a good right hook these days I think it makes for an exciting fight. If Pac can find a way to counter Floyd and stop Floyd from getting inside he can win.

With Shane I think Floyd will be more comfortable. Jabbing and moving and deflecting punches, doing what he likes to do. I don't think Mayweather needs to come out of his shell to out box Shane, That's why I think Pac's style will be a little tougher for Floyd, but we'll see.

As far as Floyd ducking, I think it's more disrespect for Pac than fear. Floyd has made it known that he doesn't need Pac, and doesn't feel pressure to make the fight. He says he's doing boxing a favor by asking for the tests, but it's still Pac's right to reject the 'random' ones, Floyd should take it up with the NSAC, and stop bad mouthing Pac, who has not been found using.

Floyd vs. Mosley is the more competitive fight. Floyd will beat the hell out of Manny.

The only way these two will ever fight is if they both get their asses handed to them in their respective fights.

I think Shane's going to force Floyd to work harder. If Mayweather does what I think he can do, he'll be able to keep Manny at arms length

u not getting what im saying...angles are awesome...read the post...but what im saying is that he works off angles and floyd is very good at not giving his opponents any angles...he stays a step ahead and sometimes 2 so that his opponent don't get an angle on him...not sure if u been in the boxing gym but he is consistently keeping his movement ahead of his opponents..this is one reason why I think that "technically" floyd will be able to use his skills alot more and be more on point with Pac more so than Shane
