What's the reason you are using it? Are you trying to make weight for a fight?

Yeah I was going to say.. I don't see a reason for them unless you need to lose a bunch of water weight for some reason?

Other than seeing how long you can go before blacking out.. seems pretty useless

It's just water weight.. you'll gain it all back after you re-hydrate.

Sweating more will not make you lose weight faster, in fact it will do the opposite. If your engine cannot get rid of excess heat it will perform less well. Drop the sauna suit and stick to a healthy diet and regular exercise.

I wear my sauna suit twice a week, i think they do help you lose weight. Think about it, is it easier for people to lose weight in the summer because of the heat. Once you get use to running with the heat i think its a benefit. I wouldnt use it everytime you run. What they do is clean your body out, you sweat all the bad toxins out. I think the extra heat will help you burn fat quicker once you get use to running in the heat. I have no problem running in a sauna suit at a good pace now. Thats just my opinion.

Sweat does not contain toxins, **** and **** do. The extra heat will not make you burn calories faster at all, the opposite is true because the body uses sweat to get rid of excess heat. If you can not get rid of heat, performance will suffer.

Sweat besides the 99% water contains salt, vitamin c, uric acid, lactic acid, ammonia and fat molecules. Small trace amounts of toxins may be stored in fat, but it's such a small amount it's barely worth mentioning, the human body is detoxed by the liver and kidneys.

Sweating has only one function and that is cooling blood, which in turn cools the rest of the body as it's being pumped through by the heart. Sweat is actually water that used to be in your blood, you're not losing toxins you're losing heat (while at the same time thickening your blood hence the warnings about sweat suits).

I use mine when I workout @ home, I just prefer to sweat like hell, it takes some getting used to though. I think it's a personal preference.

Basically, you lose weight when you burn more calories than you consume. Running will burn calories, but using a sauna suit doesn't make you burn more calories, it justs make you lose water weight. Yes, it's weight, but it doesn't stay offf, because as soon as you rehydrate it all goes back on.

I thought that they helped lose weight, I read recently that fat people use a sauna to help lose weight, I thought it would have the same effect.

Calzaghe was wearing one before is fight with RJJ I thought he could make LHW comfortably
