This is my first actual thread so be nice. Anyone else been desperate to see this matchup for about a year and a half now? Got to be a potential FOTY candidate. I love watching both guys. Would've been easier to make when they were both at PBC but, Turki's made it clear what kind of fighters he enjoys watching so hopefully, if he truly knows as much about boxing as we like to hope, this would be a dream fight for him to make. How do you envision the fight going, and who do you think takes it?

Matias stops punches with his face in hope the other guy tires. Cruz is a relentless , power punching ,pressure fighter that can go for 12 rnds. The way to beat Cruz is stick and move. Not stand and trade. Give me Cruz.
Sure, but...you can make just as reductive a case the other way, saying Pitbull isn't exactly Sweet Pea defensively and Browny hits like a truck.
True , he is there to be hit. But I think he has shown pretty good whisker. I like Matias but his eat punch to take a punch against another good puncher with a chin, I’ll take the other guy.
Sounds a bit like a light welterweight version of Joyce vs Chisora. And Chisora won that so... you may be onto something haha.
I like this match up. I'm always going to favor the boxer over the puncher, but this is a decent match up that should be entertaining. Fans win.
I like the Pitbull in this fight in a rock'em sock'em robots kind of encounter , but the fans are the only certain winner in this fight. Nice matchup
