I can only assume youre kidding. Its a terrible card. Guadalajara, Mexico (HBO) Saul Alvarez (No. 2) vs. Kermit Cintron 12 Rounds - Junior Middleweight Division (for Alvarez's WBC title) Daniel Estrada vs. Francisco Cordero 12 Rounds - junior welterweight division Cincinatti, Ohio (HBO) Adrien Broner (No. 6) vs. Vicente Rodriguez 12 Rounds - Junior Lightweight Division (for vacant WBO title) Gary Russell Jr. vs. Jerry Belmontes 10 Rounds - Featherweight Division
I can only assume you're fishing. 2 world titles on the line A future hall of famer in ginger Saul Gary Russell Jr also fighting Card of they year.
Alvarez - a PROSPECT fighting a known burn-out in Cintron. Woeful headliner with the most obvious outcome of the bunch. Estrada - who ****ing cares? Broner's an overrated punk who couldn't even beat Ponce Russell Jr is a great talent, but nothing to get excited over in this sort of match-up. It's a weak card, propped up by some names but let down by its actual quality. If that's a "monster" than by **** we aren't very discerning.
To be fair it is a good card.... Much better than the degale, BJS, Groves card who are fighting bums. But more people would complain if they didn't show the degale card. The Barker vs Martinez match was actually a bigger mismatch than Alvarez vs Cintron but look how many people were looking forward to that. I think people have every right to ask for these cards. It seems like the ESB just don't like fighters who have crossed over with casuals i.e. Khan, Haye, Hatton, Fury, Alvarez etc. Then you compare it with the respect ESB has for guys like Barker, Price, Froch, Martinez, Marquez etc.
He tried against Williams, but it was too far away from the ring. I think Marlow be trolling. At least, I really hope he is.
