Lucas Matthysse. He never really won the real belt except for the interim one.

He should have won the legit belt from Lamont PEDerson but was prevented because of boxing politics. He should have won it from Devon "Quitter" Alexander but got robbed.

I view Lucious Lucas as a real champion in my eyes that never really won the belt because of corruption and politics.

I did think of him, but he didnt beat a fighter who went on to win a world title even though he beat a former world champ. Still great fighter

Of course people will remember Sturm, he was a 3 time MW world champ with a good resume.

How about David Starie who beat Clinton Woods who won a world title. Starie had a good career and skills

Or Ivan Robinson who had a good career and twice beat Gatti who went on to become a world champ and drew with V Harris who went on to become a world champ
