Successfull boxers without an amature pedigree

    Could you please list the good/great pro boxers who did not have a long or illustrious amature career

    wasnt he like 14/15 when he got bored and stopped only to pick it up in prison? he definitely had a small boxing background but it wasnt long and succesfull I think.

    Most sites claim that he had a record of 95-4. He would always go to school bragging about all the trophies he won as an amateur.

    He started boxing at age 10 and got sent to prison at 17.

    Don't know if serious but Hopkins, Hagler and Duran had amatuer fights.

    the ts said long and illustrious amateur career, I thought they didnt qualify then unless you have a amateur career like leonard,whitaker,mayweather,Oscar etc. Marciano also had like 13 amateur fights I think but isnt exactly been a great amateur career.

    I'm pretty sure Qawi never had one amatuer fight and had his first pro fight when he was 25??

    Goodness knows how good he could have been with the right seasoning....

    Most Mexican as mentioned, I think MAB turned pro at something like 15, Margarito too
