He's a weird guy but he's very good at his job and normally people who excel at something are a bit odd.

Wonder if Joshua will try to poach him now that Fury has "retired". I would if I were him.

 

Do you go around telling people what they should and should not do?

 

He hit the jackpot and might now get out of the role before he's exposed.

All I know is that the last two fights people are talking about Fury looking like crud despite getting the stoppages. Now people are talking a lot about Usyk winning. If Hill was so good, it should be people talking about how refined Fury has become and being worried for Usyk.

Fury would beat most just on ability alone, regardless of trainer. He fought Cunningham without his coach in the corner.
But up against Usyk and maybe AJ too, he likely won't get away with what he's doing these days under Hill.

 

AJ has no chance against Fury unless he's grown old over night and can't take a punch anymore. He almost got killed by the most vicious one punch KO artist of this era and still got up. AJ's only chance is a knockout, no way he has a chance on points. Usyk is a dangerous fight for him though and a hard one to call. Fury's size could just be way too much if he leans on Usyk but Usyk could also just be too fast getting in and out and lighting Fury up.

 

Nothing wrong with a coach having some fun and loving his fighter. Long may it continue.
