Who wins this dynamic contest between two of the fastest, most graceful and skilled heavys of all time?

Sugar Nicky V toys with poor Willard for 12 rounds only to brutally knock him out with the behind-the back leaping left jab out of unorthodox stance.

Willard should whip his ass. Way more power and better overall. Better conditioning, to be sure.

In a finish fight, I like Willard.

In a 12 rounder, I have to take Valuev. I don't see that Willard has the technique to beat him, and who knows how Jess deals with a bigger man.

:patsch SNV would work his ass over with crushing body shots until he felt like taking him out. Willard's stamina existed because nobody could crush a ribcage like SNV in his era.

    great point!:good

quick question: who ranks higher, holyfield or willard??

valuev completely dominated with slick movement, ridiculous workrate and iron will. if he does that to evander holyfield what does he do to willard??

Jess gets under the much shorter Frank Moran rather well in countering off the ropes here. (He's also much faster than his smaller challenger, repeatedly interrupting Moran by darting in and out with quicker and straighter shots while Frank barely can get his Mary Ann loops off the launching pad.)

He hammered Floyd Johnson pretty well at close quarters, and could pretty much ravage anybody on the inside with his uppercut. The wrestling ability, stamina, and tremendous physical strength, naturally evolved from immense farm work developed through childhood. Hand speed, foot speed, mobility, stamina, quickness and conditioning are all his. He took the measure of 6'6" 235 Carl Morris 8-1-1 in rounds. NY Times called his MSG ten rounder with the 6'4" McCarty in Willard's favor.

Big Jess was a healthy Kansas farm hand and athletic cowboy who enjoyed a long life, not compromised by the deficits in speed, reflexes and punch resistance which acromegaly can hinder an athlete with. I expect him to decision the much slower and more cumbersome Valuev, outmaneuvering SNV badly in the process. Nikolai's size would be a major deficit here, a target which couldn't be missed, while Willard could be highly elusive against a lesser light than the Mauler or Lil' Artha.'

Haye demonstrated that Valuev could be hurt, and Jess was certainly capable of inflicting stunning damage if he chose to unload. I don't think Nik has anything to trouble Jess with,

    Willard was a bum.

    Easy win for Valuev.

This "bum" acheived far more in his career than Valuev ever did.

Lets not loose sight of that.
