I'd think Fenech might just smother Ramos and run him over late for a clean but hard-fought points win or maybe an exhaustion stoppage after a very back and forth battle. Ramos was brilliant: a huge puncher who was very slick and crafty offensively and massive at the weight. Fenech might find it hard to bully him initially because of his size and strength, but Ramos was lethargic in the later rounds in several of his fights because of weight-draining. It really cost him against Saldivar and he'd already had a tough time with the very strong Floyd Robertson in the late rounds after dominating the early and mid rounds. This was later in his reign after years of protracted struggling with making the weight, but I'm sure he faded a little bit against Rafiu King too in his first defence after knocking out Moore, though not as dramatically. He took out Seki and Moore before they had a chance to take him too deep into the fight. The other thing with Ramos is that he had a Napolesesque disregard for being hit in that he was a natural punch slipper and counter puncher with good technique, but he baited opponents and wasn't afraid to take shots, not having the sharpest reflexes, and it got worse the tireder he got. Shots that he'd be slipping and evading by a minimum amount or only catching a glancing blow early in fights ended up hitting him flush in the face in later rounds. Fenech wouldn't find him hard to hit I don't think.

So a skilled swarmer like him is probably a hard night for Ramos, the one who showed up in the first Nelson fight. Then again, I wouldn't bet against Ramos knocking Fenech out or hurting him enough to force a stoppage, he was a sneaky ******* with dynamite in either hand. I think he was more skilled than Nelson and dynamic but without the endurance despite having a good chin overall.

Pretty good breakdown, but I feel the Ramos that stopped Moore (well, more than stopped, sadly) was too skilled and powerful for Fenech. I think he could duplicate what a HEALTHY Nelson did to Fenech in their rematch.
