Digging deeper you might find Benitez's committment to training quite consistent.

As for indifferent when the fight was stopped, well there would obviously be reasons for that ;)

Rooster, how much fun would it have been to watch Norris left a quivering wreck by Hearns atomic right hand ? Geez, if Mullings, Brwon,Jackson etc could crack Norris stellar chin. Almost frightening to think of him stepping in against the `Hitman`

Hearns for me. He knows that SRL can't outbox him and thus knows exactly what the plan will be in the Leonard corner. We see more "Motor City Cobra" in this one than "Hit Man" and Tommy takes a UD.

I'd pick Leonard to win a REMATCH if it was made at 154 in, say, 1982.

But the question here posits a Leonard from the Kalule fight (before he even faced Hearns) going up against Hearns for the first time, except it is a 154 pound mature Hearns who has already fought Leonard !? That seems an unfair swing toward Hearns.
    Probably Hearns wins then.
But in real life, Hearns would not have beat Leonard in 1982 even at 154.

    Hearns slight favourite over 12....
    Leonard slight favourite over 15....

Either man could win at either weight tho, its just about a toss up IMO.
