    I think is true, boxers after they win the title try to defend it as many times as they can without fighting the best. Look at Juan Manuel Lopez he has said multiple times that this is a business and that's why he's holding off fighting Gamboa and Caballero. He wants to keep that cero in his record as long as he can. And as long as people keep paying to watch his fights and he keeps getting paid they will get away with it.

    He's fighting Salido now and its talking about fighting marquez in a rematch after that. Back in the day a boxer wouldnt get away with that **** and the fans wouldnt allow it.

    And that's just an example there are many.
