I like Leo Nard, I agree with him, but I'm nominating Robin Deakin.

As usual with Ray, he sounds more like he's talking about himself than Floyd.

Anyway, SI will not give Floyd that award. Being a sportsman implies having some class and maturity. Floyd did jail time for beating a woman in front of her own children this year, and is still notoriously ducking his only rival.

Plus it's going to be a while before he lives down saying on the air to an elder statesman of boxing journalists, after the Ortiz sucker punch: "You never give me a fair shake...They can put somebody else up here to give me an interview. HBO need to fire you. You don't know **** about boxing. You ain't ****...All of these boxing experts - how can you be a boxing expert if you never had a fight before?"

You know **** all about boxing.

Pac ducked him in 2009, refused testing when the split was 50/50. No ******* has been able to explain why this was.

It was a year ago and he did his time. Now he's the greatest man.

I have no problems with that.

I think Danny Garcia deserves to be FOTY.

 You're a good troll, MVC or whoever you are. I've never put you on ignore because you make me laugh. We all know you're a secret ******* because everything that comes out of your mouth ends up making Floyd look worse.

You can keep thinking that. :rofl

And you still refuse to answer the question, why did he refuse tests in 2009 and then accept them in 13?

You really are funny. You think you've got some devastating smoking gun kind of question that I am afraid to answer. :D

I don't like to waste time on here too much, but I like you, man. So I'll explain it to you.

Manny didn't refuse tests. He first agreed to tests and proposed different cut off dates. Floyd would not agree to any cutoff dates. That's not refusing tests. That's just an argument about how close to the fight they could test.

Then when Floyd would not budge, Manny finally agreed to no cutoff. He did this before the Margarito fight. Even though Floyd and his whole family were publicly insulting Manny by saying Manny was on something. He did this in different interviews, and said he also did it in negotiations with Floyd. The first time I saw him say it was before the Margarito fight, here.

    [yt]utc1nhi-JcY[/yt]

Then Floyd pretended not to hear, gave a lot of press conferences claiming Manny would not test, and printed up t-shirts saying "take the test" (you probably have one). Then Floyd paid Manny a huge sum of money out of court, stopped talking about testing, and went on to think of new roadblocks to stop the fight from happening.

Now Manny is doing full testing probably because some time has passed, more fighters are doing it now, and he wants to show that he's clean like he's always said he was. And he sees how juiced up Marquez is, and how it gave Marquez the power of a middleweight when they fought, and he doesn't want to lose again to a guy who is roiding.

But most importantly, and this is the thing a lot of Floyd fans don't seem to get, probably because being arrogantly dictated to by Floyd in negotiations wouldn't bother them. Manny is doing full testing because none of the guys he's facing is publicly insulting him, and calling him a cheat, and trying to dictate terms to him like he's a nobody.

Floyd's approach to negotiations with Manny has always been about belittling him and making insulting demands. Insulting demands about testing, money, promoters, who Manny has to fight first, how Manny has to cook him some rice and make him an eggroll, etc. Which is why Manny's attitude is always like "I don't need this *******, but the fans want the fight so I will try to make it happen."

It's called pride. Or as Marvin Hagler says, "Who are you?"

witting lies on a message board doesnt make them true
everyone on the planet knows that in that 3 year span where the world wanted pac vs floyd, floyd ran away using every excuse in the book.

There have been 35 different excuses that Pac used.

Stadiums, investors, Cutoff dates, Drug testing issues, etc etc etc. :patsch
