[ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4_960d_YqaE[/ame] Not too sure if this has been posted, I've just seen it now. This was a good interview and really interesting. Timothy Bradley a future Elite fighter who is very determined and focused. Doesn't seem like at this current stage of his career that he will lose to Pacquiao. If anything it will be the exact opposite. Seems like a typical, 'pass the torch' fight here. June 9th is going to be special.
I'm not a big fan of his, but to be fair, he does have the tools to go on to be a very dominant champion at 147. However, he's severely lacking that 'wow' factor to be eligible for that torch from Manny. I don't mean that he won't beat Manny (because I think he probably will), I just mean he won't replace him as a cross-over megastar.
Yeah I agree, I don't really think Bradley will become a massive PPV star. But there are big fights for him in the future which will sell. 147 has a big future and I'll like to see Bradley lead the way.
Just look at Sugar Ray compared to Bradley and ask yourself if Bradley could have survived in the ring any time at all with a 25-year-old Sugar Ray!
Ray is so much bigger than him in frame. He is obviously bigger than him in weight, thats a given, but the height and framework of him is huge for a guy who once fought at 140lbs...
Definitely agree with this, all around quality but no wow factor, no big punch, not super slick. I wouldn't outright pick him, like Leonard says 'a hell of an opportunity IF HE FIGHTS HIS FIGHT'. Although it's more than that, he needs to proven his mantle in some respect, he needs to be able to handle the occasion, he needs to dissect Pacquaio and he needs to raise his level. His experience with southpaws helps him here at least A bit too much of a mutual appreciation society here with Leonard though
Tim needs to step up the wardrobe. Those cheap ass suits make him look like a chump. Looks like he got that from JC Pennys or ****.
