This weight bully talk is silly. If you make weight at the weigh-in then there should be no problem. In all the combat sports, people fight at the weight most advantageous to them. This is nothing new,

If you don’t think a guy who finished his career at 190lbs did not have a significant “natural” size advantage… it’s clear Tommy didn’t belong at those lower weights for the disadvantages you exclaimed, his frame was not for 147lbs but Steward got him real low for the obvious.

Yes I agree, some people are bigger 147lbers then others and that’s there main attribute.

Hearns weighed 145 at the same day weighin for Leonard. As an amateur, Hearns fought at lightweight. Hearns put on weight as he aged. There are plenty of tall, skinny guys like Breland, Paul Williams and Hearns that were long for their weight classes.

I don't know how people pick with confidence when it comes to this tier of fighters..

He made 147 like the other guy. He belonged at the weight.

There's a good deal of risk in losing more weight than your frame can allow while still performing at a high level. Tommy and Steward clearly felt that in the 12 hours after the weigh in, they could get him back to full power. If he's so much bigger than 147, that's a fine line to tread. You're just as likely to be weight drained and weak as in prime position to overwhelm a much smaller opponent - 'much smaller' in the sense of being one who weighed the same as you, naturally, just 12 hours previously.

How in the hell would Napoles , a natural and blown up lightweight , get close enough
to Hearns to even hit him. Much less ko him?
Napoles may have had better overall skills (And that's debatable) . However Napoles would run
into the same problems Duran and Cuevas had with Hearns. That's simply being physically overwhelmed.
And the definition of a weight bully in my opinion is someone that comes in heavier than
    the agreed upon weight class.
Hearns always came in at or below the assigned weight limit. Remember he fought
in the day of same day weigh ins. If anything he weakened himself to get down to
welter, possibly making himself less effective.
Of course you are welcome to your opinion, but in mine, you're completely
    off base with it.
