Is this a competitive fight with Joppy reigning at middle a while and Sugar only the one fight?
Joppy, who kod Duran faces the comeback kid, who wins and how's it end?

If a comebacking Sugar Ray Leonard can defeat a middleweight champion who dominated his division for almost 7 years, (no excuses, Marvelous should have kayoed Leonard) then William Joppy would pose no challenge to Ray at all who won the Light Heavyweight Title a year later. Sugar Ray out slicks, out punches Joppy to win a unanimous decision

in 1998 when Duran fought Joppy? I think Ray loses in the 7th round by stoppage. By that point Ray was even more diminished than Duran was. He had been inactive.

    LOL @ this question.

There's zero case to be made for Joppy beating the 87 Leonard.

    No case whatsoever.

While Ray Leonard’s number of fights at middle weight were few, I think he achieved enough to indicate that he’d beat William Joppy. Not sure what it would look like though.
