I dont think Brown was better than Kalule. He was the Bigger puncher, but i think Kalule would take a decision over Brown.

 

Now I might not agree with you on everything here but this is a very plausible scenario, for anyone to think that Ray smashes Norris in 3 rounds like nothing is just naive.

Norris was a good fighter, Leonard was on a different planet. Whips him like a school girl in his prime.

 

Getting your ass whooped by a prime Norris at 154 is not an indication of being shot, its an indication of simply being inferior.

After Norris fight with Meldrick Taylor, George Foreman said something very prolific when he said, to paraphrase 'Leonard didn't have to retire after his lost to Norris because he lost to a great fighter'.

Leonard retired because he couldn't live with the fact that another fighter had his number.

 

....Hold up, was that prime Leonard in with Norris? Keep in mind, I know the answer, and depending on your response, you might lose all credibility. I'm all for being supporters of fighters, I'm a huge Marco fan, but I never claim Tapia, Ayala, and Mckinney were in their prime. If I could, I would.

 

Mckinney was still pretty close to his prime at about 90%.

By the way addie did you see when Barrera punched Mckinney Square in the face at the press conference?

 

Was Leonard prime when he fought Norris?...No

But was he a shot fighter when he fought Norris?....That answer will also be No.

 

Brown is two levels above Kalule. I think Vincent Pettway would spark Kalule as well.

It seems every poster that gets infatuated with the Norris/Camacho/Ayala trio gradually loses their grip on reality. Either that or they never really had it in the first place, hence their gross overestimation of these fighters. I never thought this would become you, Benny.

Absolutely. Marco was a fiery customer when provoked. If it's on film, I've pretty much seen it all of Marco.

 

That was funny as hell Mckinney tried to get in Barreras face and get all ghetto on him but Barrera wasnt having none of that **** Mckinney thought cause he was wearing a Laker jersey(they fought at the forum laker turf) and being from the US that he could talk **** yelling this is my town:rofl:rofl Which was complete bull**** cause LA was Marcos adopted town and was a forum fighter.
