SRL beat Donnie Lalonde to win the WBC SMW title. How would that version have done against Carl? [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=157CBZJBXPs[/ame] [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IhmWEm_hqg8&feature=fvst[/ame]
The Sugar Ray Leonard who got off the canvas in the 4th round to beat and knock out Donny LaLonde to become the WBC's inaugural Supermiddleweight champion and the WBC Lightheavyweight champion at the same time would've no doubt beaten any version of Carl Froch. Honestly I also think that the Ray Leonard who fought to the controversial 12-round split draw with Tommy Hearns in their long awaited rematch as well as the Leonard who decisevely outpointed Roberto Duran in the '89 trilogy would've beaten Froch as well.
