Do you honestly believe this? A jab to the body will zap Leonard of his energy? And as far as fast twitch muscle fibers, there are quite a few faster than the 147 version of Floyd.

Why does he need to exchange? He'll be pressed by a fighter he can't use any physical advantages on, and one he can't dazzle with footwork, as he's facing someone on the same level in that regard as well.

That is foolish, plain and simple. DLH could find it, Castillo could find it, Judah could find it, but not Leonard? You act like Leonard was a slow, sluggish, plodding pressure fighter rather than the super fast, combo-throwing, powerful, brilliant boxer that he was.

 

because you hold SRL to a high standard ... you act as if he finished his career undefeated or something.

he's not all that ... i've seen plenty of SRL ... I like him, he's entertaining.

Are you that close minded ... this is mythical ... you try to understand what I posted and counter it with what you think would turn out ... if I say that Floyd does this, then if you dont believe that - tell me what you think SRL would do in return.

Don't just say Floyd will get stopped and thats it ... thats the answer and the mentality of a child. And yours or anyone elses opinion doesn't trump another just because you believe what you believe.

Its real dumb that you're taking this so serious and acting like this fight is a possibility later on this year.

That's not the logic he used. He picked Floyd and gave a pretty detailed explanation of his pick. Using his logic, a person couldn't simply dismiss a poster for picking Ottke to KO Calzaghe, if said poster gave reasonable explanation of their pick.

those guys couldn't find a target thats why they lost ... yeah they were able to land punches (of course its a fight) but nothing effective.

An explanation is not the same as a reasonable explanation. His points are ridiculous, so the fact that he tries to back his statements up isn't enough when he's posting such easily and obviously refutable material.

 

Its a way to debate something without saying someone is dumb for thinking different than you. Its not a reason to get upset ...

You can debate someone's opinion with your own .... there's not enough evidence and this fight will never happen so there can't be any dispute.

I thought he made some good points. I don't neccesarily agree with everything he said. Never the less, he still made some good points. On that same note, I thought you made some goood counter points. I also think you made some weak, and flawed ones as well. That's the nature of a debate.

 

All of them gave him troubles, Castillo arguably won. None of them are near as good, nor do any of them have NEAR the offense that Leonard did.

Not when you're putting yourself in range of a straight left from one of the fastest counter-punchers there's been. He would counter the counter-puncher he was so fast. In fact, he did this at times in his fight with Benitez, and power punches, not "shoe-shine" punches like you seem to believe he threw.

Meldrick Taylor, Hector Camacho(young), Roy Jones Jr., etc are all faster than Floyd at 147.

As far as flinching and countering in the same reaction, hard to slip and counter a full combo, would you not say?

Many, many fighters. Floyd is good at it, but it's not like he invented these techniques. He'll normally look to throw an uppercut after rolling a pstraight right, as is the preferred method. Guys like Toney nowadays, and Archie Moore used to do it all the time.

I already explained why your points were ridiculous. Why are my points better than yours? Because they bring out the styles in both fighters, not just Floyd's. You acting as if Leonard would be befuddled by movement and less speed than his own is absolutely ridiculous. You act as if Leonard was a statue or a very limited fighter. You're looking at it from Floyd's strengths, and taking into account none of Leonard's. I could do this with any fighter ever.

 

why are you acting as if you invinted boxing so you know everything there is to know or you trained both fighters in their primes and know each fighters weakness?
