You're one of the most mind-numbing posters I've ever come across. You tried this same bull**** in the Whitaker thread. I'm done with you, I've explained myself.

    I'm right. You're wrong.

    Let's look at these

Yes, if Floyd was able to constantly land jabs to Leonard's body, that would not only take away some of his energy, it would also cause him to lower his hands. This would lead to more head shots landed by Floyd. I don't believe there were quite a few fighters at WW with better fast twitch fiber muscles than Floyd.

    Good poitn.

I don't like this point. DLH had some success in the 7th and part of the 8th with his jab. He also landed a flush straight right at the end of the 11th(a round in which he was dominated). Besides that, he landed nothing of significance. I don't remember him landing any other flush shots(maybe one at the end of the 12th). Judah had one really good round against Floyd(round 4). Round 2 was going Floyd's way, but Judah did land that couner shot that could've bee called a KD. For most of the fight Judah wasn't landing or even throwing many punches. Castillo landed pretty frequently, I'll give you that. He landed some good, flush head and body shots.

One posters opinion or analysis on a fantasy fight can be better than anothers just as one boxers abilities can be better than anothers.

This is a boxing forum, and just as you have the right to have an opinion, I have the right to think it isn't a good one.

Why you are continuosly arguing that you have a right to an opinion, while then arguing that others don't have a right to critique yours is beyond me. To be honest its just baffling.

and your opinion isn't purely hypothetical?

all this is - is guessing ... SRL retired a long time ago ... Floyd just hit his peak at 31 ...

you sound funny ... i'm not going to call you dumb or say your opinion is stupid or hypothetical (even though thats what it is when it all comes down to it) i'm just going to say you make me laugh ... and you have some bias toward Floyd ... you did the same thing when I thought Whitaker v F. Mayweather would be a draw!

I changed my prediction (Mayweather UD) because the bashing and the closed minded -ness was too much.

What kinda thread is it ... if everyone agrees to it? there's simply no point that probably why this point keeps on coming up --

well I think Floyd will win and thats that

if ones opinion trumped another then no one would have any ... everyone would just listen to the two boxing guru's opinions....

come on now all this is speculation ... why do you act like you know it all when there's no chance of this fight ever happening.

    oh you two are nostradamous?

I pick Leonard by Decision. He's been in there with Great Defensive fighters before (Benitez) and gotten the job done. Like DeLaHoya, Leonard would be the bigger and stronger man; unlike DeLaHoya, he would be able to fully utilize those advantages. He hits harder than DeLaHoya and has at least equal speed to Mayweather's, plus he has the stamina to fight a fast paced fight for 15 rounds so there's no danger of him having a winning strategy but not having the stamina to implement it. If Floyd proved difficult to hit (as he likely would in the early rounds) he wouldn't waste punches and stamina throwing lots of punces in a vain effort to connect. He'd likely find success with the jab, and work the body in the early rounds as he did with success against Benitez, and his bodyshots would have more of an effect than DeLaHoya's. In the later rounds Leonard would begin to open up more, and have more success connecting with powerpunches due to the bodyshots taking their toll. The Championship rounds Leonard would have a strong finish, closing the show and clinching the fight. Leonard UD, close but Decisive.

Really tough one to call to be honest. Leonard was a harder puncher at 147 but Floyd has better defense. That's one of those fantasy fights that's to tough to call. Like Hopkins vs Hagler and Ali vs Tyson.

Why do people start this thread?

Only to come up with a realistic opponent for Mayweather? ... why do you guys want Floyd to lose so bad?

my arguement on a fake fight is flawed? thats the dumbest thing I ever heard... how can an opinion on a fake fight be wrong? because its not the popular response?

If I wouldve said Leonard by anyway it wouldn't have been any dispute to my response for going along with the majority. you boxing guru's ...

you guys know for a fact that if these guys fought that SRL would win ... so how is that possible because you know SRL so well ... You know PBF so well...

Whats the point of this thread? so all you chumps can agree that Floyd would lose? That should make you feel satisfied because no one of this era is going to ...

I hope that makes you feel like you know boxing ...

SRL on stoppage, he used to fight 15 rounds so no way that old "I'll let you tire out and then I'll start my assault" Floyd tactic will never work against Leonard, and when he decides he needs to engage more often, leonard will blow him out.

Leanord had one of the greatest offensive games of the welterweight Div speed, combos and every punch in the book he could box slug. He had a good chin and awesome power.

Ray also had the intangibles of heart guts and greatness. Leanord too elusive strong and fast for PBF. While May has better Defense. Leanord in his time fought defensive masters like Benitez. The only thing that keeps Leanord honest is a great Offense like Durans or Hearns,. May Offense not of this caliber Leanord points win.

Sugar Ray by decision. No doubt in my mind at all.
