hey Dingy they never run out of *****cabulary to camouflage their surrender. How about the word "afraid" being changed into "vacation" :hey
Floyd is every bit as talented as SRL and as a Boxer. I certainly do not put a W by him far fetched. But when you fight and come out ontop witht he likes of Duran, Hagler and Hearns...i mean...i think you would be crazy not to lean towards that guy because he's proven. Floyd is too good of a boxer to be dominated as is SRL in they're primes at least.
Leonard by competitive decision. Neither is stopping the other in this one, surprised by the poll results. Well, not really... The problem is that 147 is 3 divisions north of Mayweathers' prime.
I think Leonard stops him, bigger AND better, its possible floyd can last 12 rounds to lose a clear decision, its just a possible he gets knocked out before then, Leonard definitely wins but I`m 50/50 on whether its a clear UD or KO. 15 rounds is Leonard by KO, no doubt at all. Anybody that picks mayweather in any scenario hasn`t got a clue about boxing, its that simple. He has no shot here, none at all.
I'm not sure what the point of threads like these are, everyone who knows anything about boxing should favour Leonard here so it shouldn't even be a debate. It's worth remembering that Mayweather is a career SFW where as Leonard was a career WW, it's like doing a dream fight between Leonard and Roy Jones at SFW.
If this was SRL v the 130 pound Mayweather (as a natural WW) then that would be a great fight, 50/50 in my opinion. But 147 is clearly not Floyd's best weight, he gets outworked and outhustled into a decision loss, or late stoppage. The size is too much to overcome against a great like Sugar Ray
floyd ducks this fight. but if floyd musters the will to fight a dangerous opponent like SRL, he would get stopped worse than hearns.
Leonard ud ....8 - 4 if over 12 rounds. Mayweather one of the best defensive fighters I've ever seen , but Leonard one of the best fighters of all time
