Sugar Ray Leonard vs Julio Cesar Chavez

Years ago, I recall an interview of SRL when someone asked him of future plans.
Would he consider going against Chavez.
He looked at the reporter quizzically and his response was something like: Are you kidding me? He is too small.
Chavez was actually much smaller than Duran. When he fought at lightweight he had already moved up from super featherweight.

Chavez was never really at 147 lbs, until very late in his career, except for the one fight against Whitaker.
